How it works
The container and canvas are marked with corresponding numbers.
Paint the container number (14) to the corresponding number (14) on the canvas.
Apply all the paint with the corresponding numbers on the canvas until complete
Once all the paint is applied, your painting will be complete.
Setting Up
- Choose a comfortable chair and surroundings, with plenty of space and light.
- A small container of water and a cloth is required to wash and dry paints between colours.
- Make sure your paintbrush is dry before dipping it into the paint pots.
Helpful Tips
- Start with the smallest areas, then work your way up to medium then large.
- Paint the whole of one colour first, don’t stop and start.
- Be sure to let the paint dry between colours to avoid any smudging
- There should be no gaps between colours.
- Take a picture of your blank canvas, it helps with small areas that can be painted over by mistake.

AustraliaFirst paint-by-number - pretty painting, happy with result
This is a very pretty painting. As my first PBN, I wasn't sure what to expect, and was a little daunted to start with a "Medium" painting. It was really fun to see the image emerge. The result is a bit less detailed than the shop image, and is more purple than blue. The painting, as you'd expect from the shop image, is quite dark - but it does make the glowing flower and sky stand out. I found most of the numbers and cells to be a good size - there are some small cells down the bottom, for the few that I had trouble with, I zoomed in on the PDF version to get the numbers. I had a go at blending on the sky and then the grass, definitely got better as I went along. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5: Some of the paint was quite translucent (see photo), so I had to do at least two coats for all colours to get a good finish and hide the numbers and lines. Some required many coats (#18, I'm looking at you). I ran out of three colours, probably because I needed to go back over so many times - PaintPlot sent more out, no hassle.

This is a beautiful image. At night time it's as if the flower in the middle is glowing. Sooo pretty! Paint amount was good, and I did a few layers around the sky and below the tree line. It's a darker image and just stunning in low light. It wasn't a difficult image but there are some smaller cells in the bottom half.

I honestly loved this piece! It’s equal parts challenging and soothing. The colours are amazing and canvas is fantastic! By far one of my favorite to date! The title Enchanted flower is so accurate.

This painting has a nice mixture of large and small areas. The paints cover the numbers and lines well, but are a little streaky so I put two coats on everything (also used 2 coats of clear gesso first). I asked customer service for a digital copy of the reference sheet and that was a life saver. I could zoom in on the areas with small areas and figure out what I was doing.
