This one was one of the hardest paintings I’ve done, but really fun. I did some extra things to make the painting more like the digital pic online such as blending the water, adding windows to the building, putting more structure to the bridge and making the leaves of the trees more realistic by spiking the canvas with my paintbrush. Very satisfied with the results!

I’ve done 6 of these paint by numbers now and this one was the hardest - lots of small details -had to paint using a handheld magnifying glass. The reference sheet (with numbers) was completely unusable- blurry & illegible printing. I ran out of two colours: no. 2 and no. 7. Ended up buying a tube of white paint and mixing more of those two colours. One of the brushes (the broad one) came apart- all the bristles cane out when I dipped it into the paint the first time. Overall, the painting came out darker and less bright than the picture- the water and reflection especially came out very brown and murky and muddy. IMHO I think the No. 11 is “too brown”

Loving doing it. But I think I should have started with something easier, lucky I had a magnifying glass with lights so that I could see the numbers, there so small. Its going to take me months to do it, but enjoying the experience and looking forward to seeing the finished product

I wasnt a huge fan of the color scheme. The dark browns and greens threw me off what I thought the picture would look like. The thing I did enjoy was the intensity of it. Very small plots which I like.
